Doxycycline tablets can help prevent Malaria when travelling to infectious regions. However, it is important to ensure tablets are taken as prescribed before, during and after your travel. Failure to complete the treatment after returning back from your travels can result in developing Malaria from inactive parasites.
Bite prevention is still important to maintain whilst taking anti-malarials.
